Hey everyone, I'm Nino, formerly a Featured Columnist for the Cleveland Indians and a Community Leader for both the MLB and Cleveland Indians section of the site. I now write about the Indians for The Cleveland Fan with some of the best producers of Tribe content on the web.
My favorite sports are football and baseball. But I'm a baseball nut and I'm a die hard Indians fan, and as you can tell that's pretty much the only Ohio team I like, that doesn't really make me popular around my area. Not that I had a shot at that to begin with.
I run a complete blog that covers everything Cleveland Indians. Check out the my website link on the side if you hate me or like the Indians. I waste a lot of time updating useful roster pages and photoshoping Indians players onto heads of Super Mario characters. Really though, I'm just a baseball junkie in general. I have a passion for the game and enjoy watching it day in and day out even if my team is nauseating. I believe that is part of the beauty of the sport that makes it what it is. I've never played the game but appreciate it so much by just watching some of the players in this day and age give it their all.
I'm a proud Zip as I'm currently double majoring in Mass Media News Communication and Interpersonal and Public Communication and minoring in Sport Management at the University of Akron. I would enjoy one trip to a bowl game before I graduate.
Other Things you should know about me: If I'm in in the car alone listening to the Indians, I will scream at the radio, it gets violent. I watch way too much television as well and have too many favorite TV shows. I still love the e-trade baby commercial, even though the new baby isn't as cool as the old one. I have a weird obsession with mediocre like baseball players such as Jody Gerut and I tend to make them out to be god-like players, for some ungodly reason. I also have an extreme dislike for Jack Cust, I don't know why. I believe I know everything there is to know about everything, I have an extremely rare sense of humor that almost no one understands, but I'm sure the fact that I think the e-trade baby commercial are funny clued you into that. I also used the word extreme a lot there. I do that too.
I tend to ramble a lot, sometimes incoherently, which is probably what I'm doing now. I love to ramble, but I guess I'm starting to near the 3,000 character limit. So I'll cut it short and remove the previously awesome joke I had.
Again, If you ever have any questions, please leave a note on my board or try and send me an e-mail at ncolla29 (at) gmail dot com. Just don't spam me, I don't want to help you transport 500,000,000 dollars into the United States, as enticing as that sounds.
Nino,
I like the strategy you've put behind your columns. Looks great. Keep it up.
Josh
