Nino's Bio

I'm currently a Communications major at the University of Akron with a bad addiction to sports.

My favorite sports are football and baseball. I'm a die hard Indians fan, but as you can tell that's pretty much the only Ohio team I like, that doesn't really make me popular around these parts. Not that I had a shot at that to begin with.

If you want to read more of my thoughts(and ones that are even more ridiculous), and hate on me some more, check out the link to my Sporting News Blog @ http://www.sportingnews.com/blog/npcPronk29

I also run a complete blog that covers everything Cleveland Indians. Check out the my website link on the side if you hate me or like the Indians.

Oh if you hate me, then I love you, because without you... Okay I wasn't sure where that was going. I love you all, except if you like the Buckeyes.

I do a Three Up and Three Down on the MLB every weekend that highlights three ups and three downs in baseball. As well one on the Cleveland Indians every two weeks. Make sure to check them out.

  3. Thanks for the add.

  4. Wow! I was hoping Dellucci was sitting on the fastball!! I was thinking to myself that Joba was throwing way too much off speed stuff tonight and with David fresh off the bench he was gona go after him with the fastball...

Hafner is really starting to piss me off....he should come up to the plate next time w/o a bat cause he is letting way to many good pitches go by...i was really surprised to see he got a hit tonight...

  6. What's Good Nino?

    Thanks for the comment.

I'm a die hard Yankees Fan, and my one fear is that the Yankees, with Hank as our owner is going to make a absolutely retarded decision and sign C.C to a long term deal with millions and millions of dollars. I don't fear anything more as a Yankees fan then another big bust like Pavano, or Kevin Brown.

I watch the majority of the Yankees games, and try to keep on eye on C.C. What's your take on this guy from a die hard fan.

And way to lost to the Red Sox last year after being up 3-1. Regardless of the fact you won because of al of the bugs, I couldn't have wanted the Indians to make the World Series any more then you.

  7. I thought Mendenhall was a great pick up for the Steelers. As much as I love Najeh Davenport, I didn't think he did very well last year (cept against the seahawks, I think it was them where he had 2 TDs) Anyways, Mendehall will give them a good 2 runningback system that will let them pound the ball in the ground and eat up some time...I think Dennis Dixon will play a Randle El type role...

  8. Ha I see. Well I am not a very big fan of anything out of Michigan. I really hate the Wolverines and the Tigers. But I am looking forward to contributing to the website. Michael asked me to join Tribe Talk and of course I accpeted. I will not be able to produce as many articles as I want, probably only 1 per week because I am genreally pretty busy with my work. I am in the military and my spare time is limited, but I recently broke my leg so I have had some spare time. Too bad I go back to work tomorrow. :( Anyways, I noticed you are a Steelers fan as well. Good for you!! Browns suck! How would you rate the Steelers draft last weekend? I think Limas Sweed is a great addition to the offense. Big Ben finally got himself another tall receiver.

  9. quick question: why dont you like the buckeyes??

  10. Hello, fellow American. This you should vote me. I leave power! Good. Thank you. Thank you. If you vote me, I am hot? What? Taxes. They'll be lower... son. The democratic vote for me is right thing to do, Philadelphia. So do.

  11. Thanks, I invited three newer members to join in this week to mix it up. I am capping our discussion to five people per week to keep the column to a good length. I hope to get all of our community involved in this discussion every few weeks. It will make us closer as a group and to watch out for each other's articles. I then hope that the members who are not involved in the article can then post their thought in the comments to try and boost that.

Anyway, I have enjoyed working with you thus far and I think we are off to a fine start. I go to some of the other team pages and it can be pretty sparse, but our community has a solid base to grow from.

  12. Lets Talk some Tribe!

  13. Hey Nino, just checking to see if you got my email about the power rankings. It is looking pretty good so far..Its fun to have multiple votes from different fans..

  14. I guess I'll just take my kind bud and go...

  15. Hey Nino, I have decided to make Tribe Talk a weekly feature. I received positive feedback about it and thought it would be cool if we continued more regularly. Anyway, the new questions are up and feel free to let me know any questions you may want thrown in for the future sessions. Thanks!
