About

I enjoy watching/talking sports, politics, and any topic that appears pertinent to society.

Short List

  • Favorite Athletes

Michael Jordan, Derrick Rose, Paul Konerko, Mark Buehrle, and a host of others.

  • Favorite Sports Teams

Chicago White Sox, Chicago Bears, Chicago Bulls, and a few others.

  • All Time Sports Moment

Scott Podsednik's walk-off homerun in Game 2 of the 2005 World Series. (I lost my voice).

  • Most Memorable Game Attended

White Sox beat the Red Sox in 19 innings the Sunday before the All-Star break in 2006

  • Most Unbreakable Sports Record

There's a bunch. Cy Young's 511 wins is untouchable. Few will ever pass even 325 again.

  • Ruth or Mays?

Mays. More complete, more speed, better arm, just flat-out better all-around.

  • Unitas or Montana?

Montana. Media helped build his fame and the people around him had a role, too.

  • Jordan or Russell?

    Jordan. The BEST EVER.

  • ACC, Big 12, Big East, Big Ten, Pac-12 or SEC?

    ACC (LOVE THE TARHEELS)!

Thanks for the props, man. It is a great time to be a Sox fan, indeed. Here's hoping they can keep it going.

Sweet. Want to be part of my White Sox roundtable? I'm sending some questions out Sunday after the Tigers game, and if you'd like to chime in with your responses, send me your e-mail and try to get them to me sometime by Monday afternoon.

By the way, I was at that 19-inning marathon back in 2006 as well...the thing I remember the most was Trot Nixon going 0/9. What a game.
