About

My name is Joseph Hawkes-Beamon and I'm an aspiring sports writer. Currently, I'm working on a Master's of Arts in English at Tennessee State University in Nashville, TN. My goal is to have my own sports publication and publishing company in the heart of Oakland, CA, my home town. I'm a very diverse sports writer who has a strong passion for football, basketball, baseball, and wrestling. I'm a die hard San Francisco 49ers fan and believe that one day, will be a beat writer in charge of covering the team.

I joined bleacherreport.com to connect with fellow sports writers who have the same passion and love for sports reporting as I do. I feel that this is a great network that allows aspiring sports writers to connect with one another and give their insight on their favorite sports teams, athletes, and cities.

I look forward to reading thought provoking and insightful articles written by hard working sports writers.

If you’re looking for artistic poetry, if your looking for a sentimental heart tugging emotional piece, and even if your looking for A deep rooted commentary on life…

    You won’t find it here!

I'm taking a look at my favorite sports team from a slightly different angle:
