Heather's Bio

Proud San Francisco native. (Try to say that you interlopers!) Ergo I am a proud fan of our local teams--the Niners, the Giants and the Sharks--and , am pretty well-versed in their stellar histories. (Stellar may be a bit strong a word to some.)

I appreciate some teams from other inferior places (just kidding, not) like the Green Bay Packers, the Indianapolis Colts and Buffalo Bills. Recently have come to appreciate the style, grace and hemoglobin of hockey. (Fave sports film is Slap Shot).

I live to see teams I hate lose.

  1. Hey, Danielle Marchelle and I are now the co-community leaders on the Sharks, and we're looking for writers to help with a favourite Sharks player and favourite Sharks moment. No timeline on it, but we want to keep posts coming over the summer to draw attention to the greatest team in the league! An article about the draft (pre- and post-), free agency, and the hiring of Todd McLellan would also be welcome!

Look for our articles on these subjects and let us know what we can do to help you on yours!

  2. To suggest that the Niners let the Packers win would be to suggest they had the ability to beat us. The only way they ever did that in the last 20 years was with the help of the officials being afraid to call a fumble on the great Jerry Rice!

  3. Thanks for the comment!

  4. Thanks for making me your pick of the day, and for your comment--snippy though it was.
