About

I love writing. I write songs, articles, poems, journal entries, you name it, I write it. I enjoy the freedom of writing. The ability to say, type, or voice anything is wonderful to me. The notion of painting a picture in one's head is amazing to me. Picture sitting at the 50 yard line, the noise of the intercom, the chatter of the big-bellied fan behind you, the sticky-ness of your feet on the soda-spilled concrete beneath you. Picture the smell of burnt popcorn, the anticipation of your favorite team making that 3rd and 7, the adrenaline, that "this is so worth 135 bucks" feeling. Can you see yourself there?

I graduated from Purdue University in West Lafayette with a bachelors degree in Creative Writing. I felt like I wasn't in class, like I didn't have homework. My assignment was to write. I ENJOYED doing my work. I know I'm rambling, but bear with me, I'm talking about writing.

Hmm, what else, I played football for the university for a couple weeks. The coach said my grades weren't "good" enough. I had a higher GPA than 75% of the players on the team. Hmmmm....never was a big politics fan....

I am not a San Francisco 49ers fan. Fans are casual team followers, they may check on their team once or twice a week. If their team was to sign someone, they'd probably find out by the end of the week. I would know a guy got signed to the 49ers before he did. I check up on them at LEAST 15 times a day. No exaggeration. I could see how someone would say I'm obsessed with my team.

Important Note: Do not say anything negative about my team in my presence.

I'm also an Orlando Magic fan. I started that way as a kid. But when Allen Iverson came into the league, I foolishly left Orlando to become a Sixers fan. I have recently went back to Orlando, my first love. Probably wouldn't be a good idea to say anything bad about them either.

I'm 24, actively pursuing a career in writing, and have a wonderful family. I've been blessed by the almighty God, and I make sure to thank Him as often as I can.

Well that's all for now, I'll come back and write some more later, trust me this is just the tip.

    Hey Andrew,

A fellow 49er fan recently directed me to a piece he wrote that absolutely floored me. Though it has nothing to do with the Niners, I think you might like it too.

    Andrew,

Your comment on that guy's article made me laugh. Thanks for directing me to it. Let me know if you get a response to it. I'd be surprised if you do...

I was starting to reply to the same article when I copied/pasted my response and turned it into my own. Thanks for reading my piece.

Loved your latest post on that Raider guy's "article" about Crabtree.

I would have replied there, but I'm not interested in boosting his ratings or his ego.

    I am now your fan.
