About Eric »

I'm a 32 year old attorney to be.. who loves sports more than anything else. If I could find a way to make a living covering sports, I'd do it gladly. Otherwise, I'll be burning up the message boards, interacting with fans about the hidden truths of my Bay Area sports teams. As an analyst, I'd say I'm tough-but-fair. I believe that sports teams represent the community they entertain. Fans want to believe in their heroes, so make us believe. Fans want to be proud of their teams, so make us proud. Those that fail to capture the hope and imagination of their fans should be questioned, and should answer to those that believe in and support them.

As for my blog posts, I hope to inspire discussion, and I encourage anyone who has thoughts to respond. The great thing about the blog sensation is that it makes sports reporting a dialogue.

I was born and raised in Concord, CA. I graduated from Cal State Fullerton with B.A.'s in philosophy and criminal justice. I have recently graduated from University of LaVerne Law School. I'm an avid 49ers, Giants and Warriors fan. I also support Cal and Cal State Fullerton sports.

I'm a regular contributor on several sports blogs, including Niners Nation, Golden State of Mind, Extra Baggs (Giants baseball, contra costa times), and Marcus Thompson's Warriors Blog.

Hey, my school has just started back so I hadn't found much time to write a new article in awhile. Well, here it is. This article is about Duke Basketball and their 2001 Championship run. Please check it out if you get time! Thanks!

You can help. Please give a read and "pay this forward" Some things are bigger than sports.
