Daniel, I know you put a lot of time and thought into your recent article on Predicting Titan 53 man roster and I enjoyed reading your thoughts. Just so you know for the future, I believe once a player has been on the 53 man roster for 6 games in a season they are no longer eligible to be placed on the practice squad in future years. That would preclude both Ball and Smith. I don't think any of the others you speculated have spent periods in two different seasons on a practice squad before this year so you are OK there. In case you are not familiar, anyone who has spent any part of two years on the practice squad with the same team without having been on the 53 man roster or three seasons I think on multiple teams is not eligible to be placed on the practice squad per the labor agreement. In all cases anyone placed on practice squad can only do so after they have cleared the waiver wire first so any team with a Darius type athlete that they want to place on the practice squad would likely never clear wiavers. Any team who takes a player off another teams practice squad (yes this happens) is not required to compensate the team whom has lost a member of their practice squad. I encourage you to keep writing for the Titans and Vols, best wishes.
