I have been a hard core tennis sports fan all my life (still love it and watch it) but defected to soccer once my daughter started playing. I enjoy watching both basketball (college) and soccer (EPL, La Liga, WPS, MLS) now. I hope and wish college soccer becomes as popular as basketball. I am doing my part staying active in the sports circuit supporting the soccer game at all levels. When I was young, I wrote a few articles for newspapers but I have not written any articles outside of science (yes, I am a scientist but not the nerdy kind...) in the last 20 years. I am looking forward to writing for bleacher report to be a voice for the beautiful game of soccer.
Hey Shobha,
I've just posted a story about the global evolution of tennis and the increasing popularity of the sport. I've put a lot of time and effort into it, and I'd be really grateful to get any feedback you have.
If you get a chance to check it out, that would be great.

I was so happy when I found out the Terps got in... although I must admit that I'm also a Heels fan. Only one can win!
