About

Hey guys! My name's Doug Gausepohl, and I'm a 22-year-old Journalism major at Rowan University. My dream is to be in the world of sports media. I hope Bleacher Report can help guide me there. I would love to cover baseball in New York or Boston, hockey in Canada, or just work for ESPN!

Add me on Facebook, Doug Gausepohl under the Rowan network, or follow me on Twitter at Doug_Gausepohl.

    Hi Doug,

I thought you might enjoy reading an Olympics story about how three ski jumpers going to Vancouver had to work jobs as ice cream sellers, dish washers, and grass cutters to afford to compete.

Thanks for the post. My parents actually just went on a cruise and saw Jonas Schwartz's parents there (I'm sure you know him, guy from SNY).

They told my parents his whole story. To put it bluntly the man earned everything he's gotten and more.

Both of them said it's extremely difficult... it's just really important to make connections. Without connections talent doesn't matter period.
