The name's Jon Bentley and I love baseball. Not football, not basketball and especially not hockey. Baseball. America's Pastime.
Names like Ruth, Gehrig, Robinson, Mays, Dawson, Ripken, etc. Those are names well known to all and beloved by all. No other sport can claim to have such a legacy. Yes, football has it's own history and names (Nemeth, Marino, Irvin, etc.) but not as deep as MLB's.
I love baseball, simple as that.
Other than that, I also love to write, to analyze and to input my own sense of humor into the topics of the day, specifically when it comes to my favorite team, the Marlins. Just to be a Marlin fan you have to have thick skin and a good sense of humor.
