I'm Bryan. I am currently a journalism major in my junior year of college at the University of Florida. My goal is to break into the wonderful and now nearly extinct world of sports journalism (your prayers and well wishes will be appreciated). Thanks for reading, and feel free to look into what I write and tell me what you think.
I am also the proud co-author of SportsCasualties.wordpress.com, a blog that covers the world of sports and the less important world around it. Please check it out.

*GWAR is awesome!*
Actually, your argument is flawed. Tampa cannot support 8 home games for the Bucs and 40 home games for the Lightning. The Lightning were in a playoff hunt and were only pulling 14,000 at the Forum. And the fact that Hockey is less popular is reflected in the reduced capacity (19k). All the masses of additional fans in Polk County and Orlando couldn't fill it up. And they won't for baseball either. There is NO WAY Tampa could do any better with 81 home baseball games. And do some research -- the % of transplants in Tampa is THE SAME as in St. Pete as is the % of senior citizens. So get over yourself. Why don't the people of Tampa/Hillsborough "do it for the community" and make the HALF HOUR DRIVE to get to the Trop. That is the main problem here. You also don't tackle the main problem which is the vast population of transplants who make Tampa Bay their home, but don't "root root root for the HOME TEAM". Bottom line -- when Hillsborough taxpayers agree to repay the Pinellas taxpayers the HUNDREDS of millions of tax dollars spent to bring a franchise to the bay area to begin with, then you can BEGIN to think about building a stadium in Tampa. Until then, the residents and businesses of Tampa/Hillsborough should be "doing it for the community" and attending more games instead of whining about driving over a bridge. REAL fans would make the drive -- as is evidenced by the residents of Pinellas driving over to Tampa for Bucs/Lightning games. Get over yourselves Tampa -- if it wasn't for Saint Petersburg and Pinellas County - there would be no team. "Do it for the community!".

A tribute to a Spud-tacular star!
First off, Go Gators. Secondly, here's my write up on Saturday night's game. Let me know what you think.
Take care and good luck in your journalism career,
I was lucky enough to check out the Pro Football Hall of Fame last weekend, and as a fan of the game, it was the most incredible experience I've encountered. This encouraged me to share the feeling with the entire B/R community.
If you get the chance, please check it out. It's why I believe every football fan should visit the Pro Football Hall of Fame. Let me know what you think.
Break down the walls!
What is Joey Dorsey's real height? I talk about that and his status with the Houston Rockets in my latest article.
Please check it out and provide your comments. Much appreciated!
Today, I took a different approach as I finally landed an EXCLUSIVE interview with former WWE and TNA Superstar, Rikishi. I hope you get a chance to give it a read.
