Daniel—creator and editor of The Atlantic Coast Constant (www.acconstant.com), an ACC sports Web site—spent three years at The Daily Tar Heel—his first year on the City Desk and his following two on the Sports Desk—where he was an assistant sports editor for two semesters. There he covered a wide range of teams, including field hockey, wrestling, baseball, football, and men's and women's basketball.
Daniel also has written freelance stories for The Chapel Hill News, The Fayetteville Observer, and The Herald-Sun (Durham, N.C.) covering high school, N.C. State, Duke, and Campbell football, UNC men's basketball, and Durham Bulls baseball.

Thanks, I am not sure what part you believe didn't make sense..(maybe the boxing lingo had you fooled)..anyhow—since you removed whole paragraphs that made perfect sense—I had to revert to an earlier version.
Maybe it would help if you posted the sentences—that in your opinion don't make sense—on my bulletin board.
