Major Kelchner is West Virginia born and raised. H was a sports writer at the age of 16 for a weekly newspaper, eventually moving up to editor when he was 20.

Major moved from West Virginia to Canada in 2001 where he currently resides.

He is a passionate West Virginia Mountaineer fan, an Oakland Athletics fan since the Bash Brothers days and closely follows the Toronto Raptors and the Seattle Seahawks.

    I've been spending time on our WVU page and read a couple of your old articles. Really on-point analysis...you do good work.
