About Jerry »

Jerry is an avid NASACAR and NFL fan. He also enjoys baseball and college football. He saw his first NASCAR race at the tender age of 11 at the 1978 World 600 at Charlotte Motor Speedway to see Darrell Waltrip get his first of 5 wins in that race.

Through the years NASCAR was not always the most important thing in his life but he has always enjoyed the sport. In 2001 when he heard of the death of Dale Sr at Daytona, he began his trip back to NASCAR fandom.

You can find him most weekends watching all the race coverage he can find the time to watch, playing fantasy NASCAR on Yahoo! and spending time with his family. In May he enjoys the All-Star and 600 races at Charlotte and the Bank of America 500 in October. His dream is to go to the Daytona 500 or one of the Bristol races.

Once August/September rolls around, Jerry struggles to split his time between NASCAR and the NFL. When Charlotte was awarded the Panthers franchise and began play in 1995, Jerry finally had a home team to root for. Before then it was the Atlanta Falcons who are now bitter rivals of the Panthers. The 2009 season will be underway soon!

Jerry hopes you enjoy his articles and views on NASCAR and the NFL and anything else he can think of to write about. Thanks for reading.

Yeah I love the Chickenfoot CD, been a fan of Sammy's since the '80's, always liked Anthony and it cool to see them playing together again.
Thanks for the kind words on my writing, try to just stay the course writing about the NCWTS, but do write about some on Happy and his KHI team. If you get a minute hope you'll join the truck series community here on B/R.

Take Care,

Mike
