Critical Cubs Review: Why Derrek Lee Is Not Worth the Cubs' Time
April 25, 2009
As it says on my page, my name is Jonathon Snowdon. I am twenty years old and an undergraduate at Monmouth College in Illinois. I am originally from Roscoe, Illinois, which is a small town about thirty minutes from Rockford and two hours from Chicago.
I am an English major at Monmouth. I also have a minor in theater and journalism, and I am currently looking to write or speak for the sports industry. The reason for this is because I feel that I have a unique perspective into sports, as I was not a fan of them until roughly my freshman year in college. This provides me with a distinctly different lens than most.
The reason I joined Bleacher Report is to help me refine my craft, and to hopefully use it as a spring board into my career.
Hey,
Lou Gehrig has somehow been forgotten amongst the game’s immortals, even though he was possibly even more of a reason for the success of Ruth’s 1927 Yankees. Read about the quiet, forgotten leader of “Murderer’s Row,” Henry Lou Gehrig.
