The Leafs Are Falling, Falling, Falling...
10/25/2009
As an avid fan and observer of sports for most of his life, Anthony is looking to combine his passion for writing with a fresh perspective on an array of different leagues. He is currently a second-year student attending Ryerson University's School of Journalism in Toronto, Canada, and he hopes his insights will assist readers in dissecting trends across the sports landscape.
In addition, Anthony has been bred in his household to consume sports media--not forcefully, but benevolently--and his allegiance to several sports teams is indicative of that zest.
A self-developed AC Milan, Green Bay Packers, Pittsburgh Penguins and Toronto Maple Leafs fan, he's been transfixed on a wide spectrum of sports, which he credits to his lineage as much as he does to his own inspired interest in football (European and American), hockey, tennis and MMA.
Although it is his greatest aim to weigh a particular topic as fairly as possible, Anthony's views can sometimes--ok, maybe more times than not--defy conventional wisdom. In his attempt to uncover unique angles, this is what you'll get from the 19-year-old budding writer: a couple of one-line jabs, poignant points and, hopefully, epiphanic moments.
And most importantly, comment and express your opinions about any topic in question. Your input is just as valuable in helping Anthony realize where he stands--and where he shouldn't.

This article was originally published in support of Relay for Life. If you have read this before, then I apologize, but please considering donating at least $1 to Make a Wish in the memory of Josiah Herring. In light of several recent events I felt compelled to revisit cancer awareness and have not had the time for a new article. I Promise to have a new article out soon in support of the cause.
Thank you everyone!
