I grew up in Pittsburgh so I am essentially required to be a Pittsburgh sports fan or I won't be allowed back in town. I'm most passionate about the Steelers and Penguins but also follow the Pirates (when they aren't 100 games out of contention). I am now a roving member of Steelers Nation, having lived in several different places over the last twenty years, but have never had a hard time finding lots of Steelers fans regardless of where we have ended up.

I'm also a huge college football fan, following Air Force (alma mater) and the Mountain West Conference. I will frequently write on subjects relevant to the MWC. I grew up on Pitt and Penn State and still follow them closely as well, along with all of college football.
