If the SEC decides to expand even further, I think they should take a strong look at East Carolina, for multiple reasons. First and foremost, it would be sticking a hot dagger into the heart of ACC country; for TV rights and also recruiting. East Carolina is growing by leaps and bounds with a Medical School, Dental School, state of the art athletic facilities (and growing), and a rabid fan base that travels extremely well. If you doubt what I'm saying, take a look at East Carolina's website "undaunted". Let the stats speak for themselves. East Carolina already plays schedules that make schools like Va Tech look a little weak and look what Va Tech has accomplished in the ACC. Do you think Tech's location and TV market was more attractive than East Carolina's? Think again. ECU would be a perfect match for the SEC. Geographically, it completes the circle. I'll leave it at that.
