I try to be an all-around big sports fan, but I can't seem to put any energy into teams as much as I can for the Yankees. I've been a fan of theirs all my life, of course from being around a whole family of Yankee fans. I'm in college right now studying criminal justice, but my English professor has told me I should do something in writing. This is my way of taking a step in that direction, and I can't think of a better way to do so than to write about my favorite teams.

    Tino Martinez, playing for the Cardinals, hitting two home runs off Andy Pettitte in his first series back at The Stadium. The crowd was going crazy! Also, Yankees vs. Orioles 7-22-09 just because of seeing Mariano Rivera in a game live for the first time.

    Cal Ripken Jr.'s "Ironman" streak
