Gouche's Bio
I am Director of Hockey Operations for Shoot For A Cure and Play it Cool. This is an organization that supports research for concussions and spinal cord injuries. I was fortunate to play professional hockey in Germany for 16 years and had my jersey retired in Timmendorfer Strand in 2003. I have been blessed to play this great game at a high level and through my career I had the opportunity to be a player, coach and General Manager of several teams in Germany. I also am the owner of 29sports.com which is a sports marketing company that specializes in hockey.

It's a little late but I thought I'd add my two cents regarding Joe Sakic's retirement. Please feel free to take a gander when you get a spare moment. Thanks.

Just wanted to let you know I deleted my comment about the handshake flap. I guess winning the Stanley Cup won't shut up Crosby's critics and it was pissing me off. I went on a "comment tear" through the articles the past few days and realized I made a few mistakes. Rather than apologize to a bunch of wining Red Wings fans, I just decided to delete my comments.
I've been enjoying your articles and look forward to more.

Hey,
Ryan Zimmerman’s hit streak halted at 30 games last night. As one streak ends, another is admired. Read about how Joe DiMaggio forever redefined ’56,’ and how his feat may never be broken. It is a record that thankfully cannot be broken through steroid use, and represents all that was once right in a game that has since gone so wrong.

Thanks in advance!
