Creature Vs Creature: The Djoker Gets Serious

Hello, I am an avid tennis fan and player, hence I will only be writing tennis articles!
Other than, I'm fairly interested in "Soccer" (or football as it's called in England) and I back my Serbian bro Djokovic. And, unfortunately, Nole is not my real name ;)
I think that a lot of it is being able to motivate himself for the so called "smaller". Because, while the competition is getting better and...
La Sod vs Delpo was something special. I was there in the stadium, watching the match! I swear, you had to be there to understand how...

Simply brilliant - even while watching on screen. I was watching on my 36' screen (with...

Great match, no doubt. Glad you got to see it.

Hi Nole! (By the way, did you borrow that from Novak? Pretty cool, anyway!)
I almost had to make a decision between watching U. S. Open tennis finals and opening week NFL matchups. Rain delays in New York City solved the dilemma; but which one would I have chosen? It would've been tennis. Read on to find out why:

Many thanks for becoming a fan.
You like Nole, I see! Also saw you did the latest CvC, and will catch up with that now!
Sorry not to have commented before, but so little time, illness while in New York, and now dreadful jet lag. Excuses, excuses. I *will* catch up...

I know...Wimbledon has one, Australia has one, French Open is thinking of getting one...time for the Americans to get one! Or rethink their scheduling...I finsd the US Open scheduling v odd. The top guys hardly play any matches in the 1st week and then have to play loads in the 2nd. Crazy. Like you say, this is 2 years in a row that they have had the rain messing things up!
I enjoy playing and watching. Only started closely following the professional tennis in recent "Federer" years (has become way too much of an obsession! ) I used to have tennis lessons every week when I was younger...now just drag my friends to the court for a game! How about you?

Yeah pimping can go on here way too much! It's ok when it is a fellow tennis friend but I sometimes get links from people who aren't even writing about tennis! But sometimes it is needed - like I am v glad that Rob pointed out your article and Conor's otherwise, in all liklihood, I would have missed them as I don't think they appeared on the main tennis page. Don't know why that is...sometimes some really good articles pass under the radar (it happened the other day as well - luckily Rob posted the article on his board).
Glad you enjoyed the humour versions - thought I'd post them to you and Conor after seeing that you had written the 'proper' CvCs!
It is still raining in NY :(

Heya, seeing as you are a Nole fan I thought you might enjoy this! (Me and Robert did a humour version of the CvC for the match you and Connor have covered and he took it on from the Nole side while I took Roger! I've linked Robert's article below.)

DeleteWe witnessed an absolutely eventful US Open this time, dotted with numerous incidents. Here's a pictorial compilation of all those moments in the singles draw which stood out and caught our attention during those 15 days.
