SF Giants: Milestones on the Road to the Playoffs.
07/15/2009
Born and bred in the San Francisco Bay Area, I have major love for the teams here. I am a Giant's fan at heart, but I will admit, the A's put some damn good teams out there in the 80's that were really fun to watch.
I love the niners too. In the winter, I bleed crimson and gold. I can't say I'm a Raiders fan, but I do root for them from time to time. I think my detachment is based on the fact that Oakland fans that are biggest player haters of the 49ers.
I love the Warriors, and of late have been really excited about the Team. The Sharks however, are proving they are the prestigous franchise in the region, with their consistent high level of play. That being said, it's really hard for me to get totally behind the NHL with all the other sports on my plate.
I am 35 years old, married last year in 08, and am expecting my first rugrat.
I look forward to writing many articles as I live and breath Bay Area Sports. Cheers!

Hey,
After the great success of my first article about the uniform numbers 1-10, I have come back with the next installment, with the best players to wear the uniform numbers 11-20. I hope you can take a look and even comment on my choices. Thanks in advance!

Hey Joe,
Ryan Zimmerman’s hit streak halted at 30 games last night. As one streak ends, another is admired. Read about how Joe DiMaggio forever redefined ’56,’ and how his feat may never be broken. It is a record that thankfully cannot be broken through steroid use, and represents all that was once right in a game that has since gone so wrong.

Hey Joe,
Lou Gehrig has somehow been forgotten amongst the game’s immortals, even though he was possibly even more of a reason for the success of Ruth’s 1927 Yankees. Read about the quiet, forgotten leader of “Murderer’s Row,” Henry Lou Gehrig.
