About

I was born Edward Vincent Koehl in July of 1984 in northcentral Wisconsin. I was raised in Appleton, WI the middle child of three in an extremely sport-centric family. Growing up a fan of all things Wisconsin, I took a leap of faith and attended the University of Minnesota and quickly became an anti-Badger fan. I do however remain loyal to the Packers, Brewers, Bucks, and Marquette University. During my time in Minnesota, I did become an avid fan of the Minnesota Wild.

I have worked in Sports Marketing for the University of Minnesota Athletic Department, in Game Operations for the Minnesota Timberwolves, in Season and Group Ticket Sales for the Milwaukee Brewers, and am currently in Sales and Operations for the MIlwaukee Mile.

I have been or am currently a season ticket holder for the Packers, Brewers, Minnesota Swarm (Lax), and Gopher Hockey and Football teams. While my list of memorable sporting events attended may not be as extensive as some others, I do boast a decent list...

Badgers vs. UCLA 1999 Rose Bowl
Tennessee vs. Florida State in 1999 BCS National Championship Fiesta Bowl
Ron Dayne's career rushing record vs. Iowa
Multiple Packer playoff games
Wild vs Ducks 2007 NHL Round One Game 4
Brewers 82nd Win in 2007
Brewers vs Phillies 2008 NLDS Games 3 & 4

I look forward to passing my insights on to the Bleacher Report readers.

    Hey Ed,

Congratulations! You won the Packer draft contest! Three people had B.J. Raji, but picking Jamon Meredith, even though the Packers got him much later, was the difference-maker for you. I'll need you to send me an address the prize can be shipped to. Please email it to "mytemp@go2unix.com".

    Nice job!
