Emily grew up in metro Atlanta in the 90s which contributed to the development of her intense love of baseball. As a lifelong Braves fan, her earliest sports memory is when Sid slid in 92. She played softball, and basketball while also doing a stint as a cheerleader in her youth. By the time she got to high school, Emily had moved on to cross country and ran for 3 of her 4 years. Her favorite sports are baseball and college football, with her favorite teams being Georgia Tech and the Atlanta Braves. Favorite players include Brian McCann, Joe Hamilton, Calvin Johnson and Mark Teixeira, while her least favorite players are Chipper Jones, Chipper Jones, and Chipper Jones.
