About

I grew in South Euclid, Ohio, a suburb of Cleveland Ohio and am a dyed-in-the-wool Cavaliers, Indians and Browns fan. Tired of the repeated punishment and heartbreak of The Fumble, The Drive, The Shot, The Shot II, The 9th and 11th inning of 7th game of the 1997 World Series, I attended U.S.C. for both my undergraduate and law degrees and am a die-hard Trojans football fan as well.

I am publishing my articles on Bleacher Report in order to offer a more objective, bi-coastal alternative to the myopic Boston-New York-centric Bill Simmons and Marc Steins of the world.

I also enjoy: 1) burgers; 2) Making fun of the asinine things that Mark Jackson says during NBA broadcasts; and 3) The fact that John Madden sounds as though he's halfway through a footlong hoagie whenever he talks.

    Tim Floyd is the most entertaining coach I have ever watched in a college basketball game. Pete Carroll is the most fun coach in any sport right now, and probably the best too. Bob Knight is my favorite ESPN former coach / analyst ever. Finally, I will always have a special place in my heart for John Lucas, who bravely led the Cavaliers to an 8-34 record before getting fired in a 17-65 season in 2002, thereby paving the way for Lebron James to save Cleveland sports.
