Detroit Lions: When You Have So Many Needs, It's Hard To Have a Bad Draft
April 28, 2009
Hello fellow Detroit sports fans, it's good to know there's still some out there. I was surprised to see that there are 386 members in the Lions community. We're holding on (Lord knows that they haven't given us a reason). One great thing about Lions fans is that no matter how much you beat us, and kick us, and punish us we stand by our team. Lions fans may be the greatest fans in sports. So don't give up hope. We've been bad for over 50 years, but it can't last forever, right? Well at least we have the Pistons, and Wings.
I was born, and lived in the Detroit area for 22 years before leaving for warmer climates. I currently live in Tampa, and I gotta tell you it's pretty nice. But no matter how far I move, how bad that they are, or how many people make fun of my loyalties down here (and it's a lot), I will always love Detroit sports. I just found b/r about a month ago, and it's pretty cool. I've never been on a site like this, and have never wrote an article (so if I'm really bad at it sorry).
I look forward to reading all of your opinions, and posting a few of my own.
