About

I first played rugby when my high school chemistry teacher, Joe Shane, and a local pastor, Jim Moon, both agreed to coach a high school club team. My brother Craig (2-time All-American/Pac. Coast All-star & 3-time National Runner-up) and I joined the team in 2000 and finished as State Runners-up (Div. II or III, I don't quite recall). The next year ('01), my senior year, I again finished as a State Runner-up. Later that year, I played briefly for the BYU secondary before stopping due to injury.

Now, I defend my status as the #1 fan of the BYU Rugby team by writing a blog devoted to the team, "BYU Rugby Forever," http://byurugbyforever.blogspot.com

BYU Rugby Forever's principal commitment is to increase exposure and recognition of the BYU Men's Rugby team, now and in the future.
