BYU Rugby Preseason Report: The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly
10/28/2009
I first played rugby when my high school chemistry teacher, Joe Shane, and a local pastor, Jim Moon, both agreed to coach a high school club team. My brother Craig (2-time All-American/Pac. Coast All-star & 3-time National Runner-up) and I joined the team in 2000 and finished as State Runners-up (Div. II or III, I don't quite recall). The next year ('01), my senior year, I again finished as a State Runner-up. Later that year, I played briefly for the BYU secondary before stopping due to injury.
Now, I defend my status as the #1 fan of the BYU Rugby team by writing a blog devoted to the team, "BYU Rugby Forever," http://byurugbyforever.blogspot.com
BYU Rugby players....what big pimps! Especially big Craig Clark, too bad he's not on the team anymore, he was like a grizzly bear out there!
And BYU Rugby Forever is a sweet site!
