A Week in the Eyes of a Kopite: From Beach Ball to Despair

Hello people my name is Matthew Watson, 18 year old student from Chesterfield, England.
My plan is to go on to study at University this coming September. If I get the required grades, I will be enbarking on a three year Media degree, plus a one year postgraduate course in sports journalism. My future ambitions are to hopefully become a sports journalism of some sort, thus why I am on this site.
In terms of my interests, my life is football, in particular Liverpool FC. I really don't know what else to write in this section so I'll finish with a few details of my life with my love; Liverpool football club.
My favourite player: Javier Mascherano.
Why? Because he is a little terrior who gives 100% everytime he pulls on a red shirt. He plays an unfashionable role and does not get the credit he deserves from some. A fine applier of his trade.
Favourite Moment being a Liverpool fan: Champions League Final, 2005.
Why? Does it need saying? The comeback of all comebacks. You'll Never Walk Alone ringing around at half time, Jerzey's legs, our fifth European Cup, it all adds up to one special night that no Liverpool fan will ever forget.
