Hey Nick,

Ryan Zimmerman’s hit streak halted at 30 games last night. As one streak ends, another is admired. Read about how Joe DiMaggio forever redefined ’56,’ and how his feat may never be broken. It is a record that thankfully cannot be broken through steroid use, and represents all that was once right in a game that has since gone so wrong.

Thanks in advance!

OK, I recognize we're all sick of steroids. But allow me to indulge one more time. I'd love your input on this list of players who will (or will not) make the HOF.

Hey Nick,

Lou Gehrig has somehow been forgotten amongst the game’s immortals, even though he was possibly even more of a reason for the success of Ruth’s 1927 Yankees. Read about the quiet, forgotten leader of “Murderer’s Row,” Henry Lou Gehrig.

Hey I wrote an article on the current state of NHL writers on Bleacher Report and I think it's an important read to members of the community. Take a look when you get a chance. Thanks.

Hey Nick,

The Yankees were already hitting just .232 with RISP (3rd worst in the league) BEFORE facing the Red Sox. They then went a horrifying 4-19. Read how fans are beginning to become angry and impatient as the left-on-base totals begin to skyrocket. I would love to hear your thought and comments.

Hey Nick,

After 86 years in “The House that Ruth Built,” it still felt weird imagining the Yankees in a new building. In my third trip to the new Yankee Stadium, there were events that finally made it begin to feel like home.

I would love to hear your comments and feedback. Thanks in advance!
