In true stereotypic fashion, I'm a canadian that rarely puts time in major sports other than hockey. Although a big sports fan...work and home life prevent me from watching as much as one would like when wanting to write and debate on such topics. I feel missing the games effects my idea of the smaller details...such as player development..impacts of roster/ coaching changes etc. By keeping up to date with the sports media etc..one can usually still get the bigger picture on the larger issues such as general development and team economics. Often I find my opinions are formed up from a combo of internet talk, highlight reels, sports talk shows and the sports columns from newspapers. However having recently moved to Toronto I'm suddenly find east coast games starting at 7pm instead of 4pm. This has enabled me to 'get my fill' as of late and I'm looking forward to the '09 nhl playoff run. Getting involved in a site such as the bleacher report makes it all the more involving and satisfying....exploring others opinions, debating the ever constant 'what ifs', and most importantly, sharing and learning information from other enthusiasts. Regardless of what team ends up on top...the next few months will be certainly entertaining! cheers :)

Thank you for writing this article! It's a bead on the leafs situation that really isn't talked about anymore. The finger pointing at burke is misplaced...

DeleteHey Kevin,
First of all, welcome to Bleacher Report. Second, I just wanted to say that you should definatly try your hand at writing and article because it seems to me, at least after that comment that I read on one of my articles, that you have some serious talent and you know what your talking about.
