About

I love the opportunities Bleacher Report brings me, and I love representing one of the greatest colleges in the United States of America even more. I have been a Jayhawk as long as I can remember and will always be a Jayhawk no matter what.

Pardon the cliche, but nothing would please me more than getting paid to watch sports. I would also like to be a missionary at some point, and maybe teach or coach a subject or sport at a grade-school level.

Outside of sports, I love my family, eating (chicken, pasta, and chocolate), God, cartoons, and a wonderful blond-haired nursing major by the name of Heather.

    Hey JD,

As a Kansas fan, I thought you might find this Big 12-related article interesting even though the Jayhawks have already faced Baylor this season. If you get the chance to read it, please let me know what you think. Thanks.

Glad to see you still have the fightin' Mangino on your short list. He was a great coach and by most accounts had good intentions while there. Count me as #25

    JD:

Regarding your fine piece on potential class of 2010 future Heisman hopefuls, you probably should have had a Top 11.

USC early enrollment commit and EA Sports, MaxPreps & Parade National Offensive Player of the Year and California single-season TD record-setter (76 as a QB, including passing for 25 & running for 50), Dillon Baxter, is already BLOWING-AWAY veteran Trojan skill players at player-only practices with his route-running out of the backfield, hands, separation, fluid speed, burst, balance. change-of-direction and ability to bring in the ball ,,, and he's really a Running Back.

Keep your eye on Dillon; the kid is truly special. Most who are intimately familiar with him and past college football greats compare Dillon most closely to legendaryTrojan All-American, Heisman Trophy Winner, NFL All-Pro, Super Bowl MVP and Hall-of-Fame stud, Marcus Allen.

    Sincerely,

    MJ
