About Shamus »

I was born in San Francisco and grew up in the north bay area. I have been a die hard Giants and 49ers fan since I can remember. I went to school at Butte college in Chico California and plan on returning to school to finish my bachelors degree in communications. I am the General Manager of a fantasy baseball team and Reigning Champions..."The Million Dollar Dream".

I believe strong pitching wins games when it comes to baseball and a solid defense in football wins titles. The 49er teams of the 80's were renowned for their offenses but it was their defenses that brought a lot of the glory.

I once saw Joe Montana at the mall. Everything went into slow motion. I for once in my life was in the midst of greatness. He still looked like he could play. I realized how spoiled I was to have the greatest Quarterback in the history of the NFL play on my favorite team.

I love my family, my friends and my lady. All I want in life is to be successful, start a family and for the Giants to win a world series while I am still kinda young.

I collect T-Shirts of 80's metal bands. Motley Crue, Iron Maiden, Scorpions ETC.

I am not a huge fan of Brian Sabean and don't get me started on the York family.

Some of my Sports journalist idols are Dan Patrick, Gary Radnich Tony Bruno and Pete Franklin.

There has always been a connection between religion and sports, and Major League Baseball has certainly not been the exception to the rule.

Check out the All-Catholic lineup…the best Catholic names (by position) in MLB history.

Thanks as always!

Hey,

The turmoil surrounding the 1977 Yankees earned them the nickname of “The Bronx Zoo.” The current 2009 Yankees have an interesting blend of leaders and pranksters, so I decided to create a LITERAL “zoo.”

Check out what animal each Yankee would be reincarnated as in a next life.

Thanks everyone!
