It just gets there! It has to do with how many people read, rate, and comment on your article. I'm pretty sure its all algorithmic.

I checked out your latest piece and he're one tip to focus on. Break up your paragraphs - it helps for readability, helps you make clearer points, and looks better. Notice the way the editors changed ure "QB is not the first pick" article and try to emulate that style.
