Jim's Bio
I grew up in the Bay Area, and watched all the bay area sports teams and the various dynasties (Niners, Warriors, Giants, A's). But once we hosted the '94 World Cup, I became hooked on soccer, er, football! This was only confirmed when I traveled abroad and met football fans in other countries. The camaraderie, the international language that is football, it really unites and bridges the divide among sports fans around the world. I began to follow the US Mens National Team during that time and haven't looked back. I watch every match and read as many articles as I can about the team, it's players. It's great watching the sport grow in our country and it's awesome to be able to write about US Soccer too, that is my passion.
When I'm not watching soccer, you can find me writing about it here and on www.fantasysportsmatrix.com.

Jim,
Hi. I'm Eric Gomez, I write about football pretty often and I've been reading your articles about the USMNT. You've got quite a good eye when it comes to analyzing football. I'd appreciate if you took a look at the article I just wrote regarding the US' performance at the Confederations Cup. I'd love to read what you think.
