I am a student at Fresno State and I am huge Giants fan. I follow them as if I were the GM and I absolutely hate when they are losing games. I enjoy writing about them and voicing my opinion on different topics.
As I said in my comment on a article a week ago, I do not think the Mets will make the playoffs.
And here is why
Are these the '69 Mets?

Apologies for the blast promotion, but this is less about getting my article out as it is about getting this kid's story to the masses.
He's been facing long odds since HS and continues to prove he belongs—having just been drafted by the SF Giants in the 36th round. Now, he's got another improbable climb to the Show, but he sounds like the kind of guy we should be rooting for:

Hey Brian,
There was a touching moment in the Mariners game last night, made possible by the best pitcher I've ever gotten to watch - Randy Johnson. Watching history unfold inspired to me take a look at his incredible career and count down his five best moments, in my eyes. If you get a chance, take a look at it, I'd appreciate it. Thanks a lot.
