2009 World Series Game One: Phillies Vs. Yankees Pitching Match Up
10/28/2009
After being raised in the crazy world of Cleveland sports, I should have hit the ground running years ago. But I didn't.
I am a 24-year old, soon to be college graduate of Akron University. I work for ESPN 850 WKNR radio in Cleveland, Ohio. There is no such thing as an average day for me, as some of the best days in my young professional career include having lunch with LeCharles Bently and Jim Tressel, helping produce LIVE radio shows for Jim Rome and Kirk Herbstreit, and the best so far, interviewing The King himself, LeBron James. Needless to say, I love my job.
I aspire to be a producer of a big time sports radio show, and will continue to work hard until I get there. My ultimate career goal is to be an ESPN reporter for Major League Baseball, and to be behind the desk on Sportscenter. I'll get there some day, mark my word.
Some of my biggest influence in sports media are Cleveland Cavaliers radio play-by-play announcer Joe Tate, former Cleveland Indians announcer, the late great Herb Score, and of course, Jim Rome.
My passion is baseball. I'm one of the biggest die-hard Tribe fans you will ever meet. I would take a World Series over a Superbowl Championship AND NBA Championship IN A HEARTBEAT!! But for now, the best (and only) chance my city has for a ring, is this 09-10 Cavaliers season. Just as Shaq said, "Win a ring for the king"!

Hey Lindsey,
I wrote a piece in May highlighting the position players that I thought should make the all star team. I started a 2-part follow up piece today focusing on starting pitchers. I started with AL. If you get the chance, I'd appreciate it if you took a look at it. Thanks

Hey Lindsey,
There was a touching moment in the Mariners game last night, made possible by the best pitcher I've ever gotten to watch - Randy Johnson. Watching history unfold inspired to me take a look at his incredible career and count down his five best moments, in my eyes. If you get a chance, take a look at it, I'd appreciate it. Thanks a lot.
