Hello my name is Bret Hoffman, I live in Amarillo Texas. I'm an avid sports fan. Here within the past 5 years or so I have become addicted to fantasy sports as well. I love the NFL, MLB, NCAA football, NCAA basketball (especially March madness), NCAA baseball. Can't stand the NBA these days, guess that growing up in the Jordan era ruined it for me, I don't know why but I just can't get into it at all. I love the Boston Red Sox, Dallas Cowboys and Texas Longhorns. I like other teams and players here and there but I'm very loyal to my teams. Without sports I would lead a pretty dull life. I love to play them, watch them and talk about them. I'm always up for a good discussion so hit me up if you want. You can check out my blogs weekly at thesportspa.blogspot.com.
I normally write about the KC Chiefs or STL Cardinals, but I am also a fantasy football addict. If you have time, check out my latest article and let me know what you think. Thanks in advance!

Hey,
In 1996, The Yankees had a magical season that would end with a World Championship. In this article, I take a look at the first time I thought the season could be special, a game vs. the Seattle Mariners on May 14th, 1996 at Yankee Stadium, Dwight Gooden on the mound, the rest is history. Please take a look and comment as well. Thanks in advance

Hey Bret,
Ryan Zimmerman’s hit streak halted at 30 games last night. As one streak ends, another is admired. Read about how Joe DiMaggio forever redefined ’56,’ and how his feat may never be broken. It is a record that thankfully cannot be broken through steroid use, and represents all that was once right in a game that has since gone so wrong.

Hey Bret,
Lou Gehrig has somehow been forgotten amongst the game’s immortals, even though he was possibly even more of a reason for the success of Ruth’s 1927 Yankees. Read about the quiet, forgotten leader of “Murderer’s Row,” Henry Lou Gehrig.
