D's Bio
Joined B/R in March (or was it April?) of '09 looking for an outlet to start writing again. Was a Featured Columnist for the 49ers for a short time, but now I fill that roll for my alma mater, San Jose State. Also like to write about MMA.
Education: Graduated from San Jose State University with a degree in journalism in 2003; served as a staff writer, managing editor and senior staff writer on the Spartan Daily 2002-2003; recipient of Golf Writer's Association of America scholarship in 2002. Covered San Jose State sports as well as general news while a member of the Spartan Daily.
Sports: Training Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu for six years, currently hold the rank of brown belt; earned brown belt in judo in 2003 while at San Jose State; also black belt in tae kwon do. Four years of kickboxing training. 1-1 record in amatuer MMA.
***If we have never interacted, and you are not writing about something that I normally read or write about, please don't pimp your story with a link on my page. I'm not against people who do that, I simply have no time to read someone's cricket slideshow. Thanks.***

This article was originally published in support of Relay for Life. If you have read this before, then I apologize, but please considering donating at least $1 to Make a Wish in the memory of Josiah Herring. In light of several recent events I felt compelled to revisit cancer awareness and have not had the time for a new article. I Promise to have a new article out soon in support of the cause.
Thank you everyone!
