Danny's Bio

Born in Bootle on 26th August 1973, I served the main part of my education at Salesian High School (now Savio) - where I studied both English Language, Literature and Media Studies. Although I am not employed in any way, shape or form as a journalist (I am in fact an assembly worker at Jaguar Land Rover in Liverpool), I love writing about my favourite love - Liverpool FC.

In my spare time, I coach my local Under 15's football side - Leonards JFC and also edit their website - this is where I get my 'journo' fix - writing match reports and generally maintaining the upkeep of the site.

Ola sir,

I just noticed that some of the comments you posted were not in the reply mode.

Reply is certainly an option for replying to a comment made other than you by or in simple words by other writers.

This helps the other writer to know that his comment in your article has been responded to.

Otherwise he wouldn't know what's become of his comment on your article.

Reply is the button on the previous article comment.

Being 17, I wasn't alive when it happened, so I wouldn't be able to do that. I think it would be great if you could do that though, as I'm sure it would come from the heart and give people a first hand account of the tragic events of that day.

I'm thinking of trying to do a collaborative effort with a number of Liverpool writers on the 20th anniversary of Hillsborough and I'd like you to be one of those writers. However, I'm struggling to come up with any ideas that would do the event justice. Any ideas?
