I originally grew up in Phoenix, Arizona, and I lived there for about 6 years of my life. After that, I moved to Las Vegas, one of the biggest cities in the U.S without a single pro franchise. I lived there for 8 years, then I moved back to Phoenix.
Sports down here in Arizona are not immensely popular, but with the recent success of the Cardinals, it's become a lot more popular for the average resident. I've never openly admitted it, but it's tough being a Carolina Panthers fan down here in AZ. Everyone is too busy being a bandwagon fan for the Suns, Diamondback, and Cardinals to really pay attention to other sports around the leagues. But that's quite enough about that...
Writing has always been a bit of a passion for me. Even though I'm not an avid reader of novels, I frequently read loads of newspaper and online articles; the perfect start for writing about sports, wouldn't you agree?
