I'm a Detroit sports/Wolverine fan born and raised in sunny Florida. I graduated from the University of Central Florida with a double major in Journalism and History, and have been working as a magazine editor in Jacksonville, Fla., ever since.

But I've only ever wanted to do one thing -- and that's write about sports. In addition to Bleacher Report, I was the Sports Editor and Editor-in-Chief of my college newspaper, and currently split my free time between contributing to the Detroit Tigers SB Nation blog, Bless You Boys, and maintaining my own Detroit Lions blog, Barry Sanders Memorial Blog (www.BarrySandersMemorialBlog.com).

So don't let the Florida exterior fool you. I probably love Michigan and its sports more than you.

    hello i will start by saying i appreciate what you wrote about the lions it was refreshing to read an article that balanced the obvious with the unnoticed by most journalists i believe in spite of these bumps in the road the lions will prove they can compete and win in spite of the negative choices of a few players you reminded your readers of some facts many may not consider thank you for a well written and thought out piece
