Geoff's Bio
Geoff Crawley is a die hard fan of Philadelphia sports, along with Syracuse University Basketball, Florida State Football, Arsenal, Barcelona and US national team soccer. (He also likes England and Argentina.) You may email him at gtcrawley@yahoo.com. And yes, that is a Vince Papale throwback.
He will also be writing about the Washington Redskins and Nationals from time to time.
He will also be picking EVERY NFL GAME AGAINST THE SPREAD (for entertainment purposes only) this season. Picks for the week will be based on odds from Danny Sheridan at USA Today, and will be posted no later than midnight on Fridays, or noon on Thursday when there is a Thursday game.
He also writes for www.sportsmyreligion.com, www.2minutestomidnightgreen.com, and has a blog at www.thevoiceofthefan.wordpress.com.
In the spring of 2010, he will be featured on Paul Swaney's Stadiumjourney.com, profiling Nationals Park, Oriole Park at Camden Yards and Citizens Bank Park, home of the World Bleeping Champions.

All Time Sports Moment
I have two, Pete Rose catching the popup that fell out of Bob Boone's glove in the Ninth inning of game 6 of the 80 series, Peter Warrick's juggling catch in the 1999 Sugar Bowl against Virginia Tech. It's not so much the catch as it is the fact that before the play, he walked in the huddle and asked the team, "Y'all want me to finish these guys for you?"
-
Most Memorable Game Attended
Phillies vs Orioles, Summer of 2003. My older son's first baseball game, Phillies at Nationals, August 13, 2007, my younger son's first game, Super Bowl 39 in Jacksonville, 2005 Daytona 500
-
Most Unbreakable Sports Record
3, all Cy Young's: Wins, Losses, Decisions
-
Ruth or Mays?
Mays, best combination of speed and power ever
-
Unitas or Montana?
Unitas, Montana was a beneficiary of a great system and great surrounding talent. Doesn't mean he wasn't great, just not as good as Unitas.
-
Jordan or Russell?
Jordan, because he won multiple titles with Bill freaking Cartwright at center.
-
Gretzky or Orr?
Really? Are you kidding? Gretzky
-
Pele or Maradona?
Really? Are you kidding? Pele. IT WAS A HANDBALL IN THE SIX IN 86.
-
Federer or Sampras?
Sampras, yawn
-
Tiger or Nicklaus?
Tiger, he changed the sport. Nicklaus was great, but did not change the sport like Tiger, although a Green Jacket at 46 is crazy.
-
Petty or Earnhardt?
Petty, no one will ever be better than The King
-
Schumacher or Senna?
Senna, how many video games does Schumacher have named after him?
-
Pac 10, Big 12, Big 10, SEC, ACC, or Big East?
Big East Basketball, SEC football (grudgingly)

Before you read, think about something. Who are the elite QB's in the NFL? Manning, Brady, Brees, Warner, McNabb, Rivers, Cutler, and Rodgers, right? Yes. Manning and Brady are HOF'ers, and Warner and McNabb are toss ups. Who is better? Warner or McNabb? Warner right? PFFT. Don't say that. McNabb is ten times better, and here's why. Give this a look, did some research on this and I think it's a good argument.
