I am a rising senior at Colby College, where I am a history major and philosophy minor. While here I play on the school rugby team and write for the sports section of our newspaper, the Colby Echo. As a Bay Area native spending my college years in New England, I have embraced the beauty of being amongst hostile fans and arguing sports with them - I love wearing my A's jersey in the centerfield bleachers in Fenway Park. Whatever I am writing about, whether my goal is to state the facts, provoke arguments, or simply make people laugh, I am never afraid to share my opinion. And if you disagree with me? Well feel free to let me know, because I would love to argue with you.

September 4, 2002. The Oakland A's have won 19 games in a row and are up 11-0, about to win number 20. They blow the lead, all of a sudden its 11-11 in the ninth. Scott Hatteberg comes to the plate and hits a walk off home run. A's win 12-11.
