  1. Thanks JW!

And congrats to YOU - 20K reads? 244 comments? JACKPOT! Brilliant work, my man, absolutely brilliant!

  2. Thanks for the words of encouragement. What you said is so true. I appreciate your insight in the matter.

Btw congrats on Senior Writer status. Big news my friend!

  3. So JW I'm noticing a lot of readers on BR are starting to miss the point of certain articles. This is largely because they aren't reading the whole article in it's entirety.

Your latest and my article last week were both having that problem. Some people were missing the point.

Mine was on D Hall and everyone thought I was blaming him for his fight with Smith in the Atlanta game. Actually I was just critiquing his performance on the year and how he was playing poorly just like the rest of the team.

Yours was that one guy missing the point with Favre, and also not reading into the whole Quinn cheap shot scenario.

I'm getting tired of these readers. Read the whole damn article and grasp the point of it. Mine wasn't about the fight. It was just something current to introduce my rant on Hall.

Are you frustrated about this too?

  4. I know that it is a little late, but congrats on the AOTD man!

  5. JW, congrats on the badge! Your work is worthy of a bunch more of them, my friend!

  6. Congrats on the AOTD JW!

  7. Hello Buddy, I would like you to take a look at this important article. it will most likely be my last on bleacher report. Feel free to pass it around. God Bless and thank you.

  8. Thanks for the note on my board, JW. I've run myself ragged and had to take a much-needed break. That, plus doctor's orders, of course.

Can't wait till I feel like writing again!

  9. Just want to say I thoroughly enjoy your Crazy Canton Cuts Series.

I happen to be writing an article for the Hall of Fame Fanchoice promotion website about my 5 overlooked players that belong in the Hall of Fame. I thought I had my 5 picked out, and have already written about two (Chuck Howley and Charlie Conerly) but looking back at your article history, you popped some more names into my head that I think I need to consider for my remaining three. Thanks for making more work for me!

  10. Great work on Coryell, JW. I'm about to check out your latest, as well. With my mom having beat breast cancer twice now, it's obviously a cause that's near and dear to my heart.

If you get a minute, check out the little prayer we Dodger fans can offer up as the team struggles down the stretch:

Let me know what you think!

  11. Interested in my take on the packers bengals game from last Sunday?

I am thinking on doing a history piece that you might be interested in....perhaps a duel piece, but I don't know if your inclined to do something like that.

  13. Hi JW, for some crazy reason my inbox does work, so guess I'll ask you from here. Would you be interested in joining me at Sportsnation, a site I established a year ago? If so, please let me know. Note: I plan on moving Sportsnation to MVN by October, which means signing up at blogger.com might be pointless, unless you are already signed up. But I'll love to have an excellent writer join me and other Bleacher Creatures.

    Thanks, JW.

  14. Are you writing for anyone right now?

If you have some time hit me on my mail:
