  1. Hey I would appreciate some input on my article: The Five Worst Sports Announcers in NY

  2. Hey Duane,

People of my generation look at them fondly as the players they watched as little kids, people of other generations may just look at them as great players. I created a slide show highlighting the best players of the 1990's. If you get a chance, take a look, I'd appreciate it. Thanks.

  3. Twin's community:
It is not too late to make a difference!
You can help. Please give a read and "pay this forward" Some things are bigger than sports.

  4. Hey Duane,

There was a touching moment in the Mariners game last night, made possible by the best pitcher I've ever gotten to watch - Randy Johnson. Watching history unfold inspired to me take a look at his incredible career and count down his five best moments, in my eyes. If you get a chance, take a look at it, I'd appreciate it. Thanks a lot.

  5. Hey Duane,

Ryan Zimmerman’s hit streak halted at 30 games last night. As one streak ends, another is admired. Read about how Joe DiMaggio forever redefined ’56,’ and how his feat may never be broken. It is a record that thankfully cannot be broken through steroid use, and represents all that was once right in a game that has since gone so wrong.

    Thanks in advance!

  6. Hey Duane,

Lou Gehrig has somehow been forgotten amongst the game’s immortals, even though he was possibly even more of a reason for the success of Ruth’s 1927 Yankees. Read about the quiet, forgotten leader of “Murderer’s Row,” Henry Lou Gehrig.

  9. Tony:
    Great list.
Nice balance in levity and insight

  10. Hey Duane,

I just put together a list of the biggest NFL draft bust from each team. Take a look at the list and let me know what you think. Thanks!!

  11. My list of the top 10 Mets of all time, hope you like it.

  12. Growing up a Mets fan you must understand then when I tell you like my first love they have broken my heart. Great work so far.

  13. Decided to make a rare write-up on the article about the Yankees, as I feel some of the fans want to use their great past as an excuse for their not as successful present. Check out my latest piece on why Yankee fans need to talk about the present, not the past.

  14. Some of the best players in NFL history have been completely forgotten simply because they played football two or three generations ago. Unlike baseball, football is all about the present day. Fans are raised to believe that the greatest players are all from their time period, so it's puzzling to me when I hear Jerry Rice unanimously declared the greatest wide receiver in history...because....well, he wasn't.

  15. Your Jamie Moyer article was really impressive, especially for someone who just joined 8 days ago!

Congratulations--you got yourself a new fan.
