About Lakers101.com »

My name is Jeff Miller. I have a background in Sport Management: I minored in it as an undergrad at UC Santa Barbara and got my Masters in the same from the University of San Francisco.

I spent two summers in Santa Barbara interning with the LA Lakers and two seasons interning with the LA Clippers. In addition, I was a camp counselor for the Clippers summer youth camp on two separate occasions during the 2005-2006 season.

I was an Inside Sales Executive and sold full and half season ticket packages as well as group tickets and suites for the Clippers during their most successful selling season ever!

I have one published article on Avery "The Little General" Johnson, which was published in the official program during the Southern California Summer Pro League during my internship with them in the summer of 2005.

I also have experience as the lead writer for two websites: Sportology.us and MillerForThree.com, which both focused on the NBA.

I am currently an aspiring writer for the NBA. Laker Fans can check out more of my work at www.Lakers101.com (Laker Haters are welcome as well).

Hey man,

I just wrote an article discussing Pau Gasol's recent injury suffered while playing for his country of Spain, which leads me to ask the question where should his allegiance lie? Please take a moment to read it and provide your own opinion as a comment. Hope you Like it!

Hey,

I know you are a big NBA fan and if you are a true NBA then you know of the travesty that is currently happening in Oklahoma City. I am not talking about the Sonics moving there, I am talking about Kevin Durant being held captive on that team.

The team is stuck in a perpetual cycle of rebuilding. How are they going to resign all those high draft picks? They can’t offer everyone one of those guys over $10M a year and if they sign Durant to the max offer of $14M a year, which they’ll have to, then they cannot afford to sign a good supporting cast to help him win.

So, what I am asking for you is to come help me out with FreeDurant.com and write little posts about why it would be great for Durant to come to your city and help your team win a championship.
If you are interested go here: http://www.freedurant.com/about there is an email link on the bottom of that page.

Let’s create a storm to get Durant out of OKC to a place where he can win a championship!

And the site is going to be going through some revamp soon, just taking a while to get the graphics done.

Hey Jeff!

The Lakers dominated Game 1 of the Finals with ease!! Rebounding, backcourt, frountcourt play, and great defense all attributed to a great win! And don't forget about Kobe! I just finished my recap of the game.

I hope you can take a look at it!

Losing BD hurt im not going to lie.

It was a very frustrating series to watch bc the nuggs screwed up maybe twice in those first 3 and that wound up costing them the series.

Honestly im not a laker hater, im just super tired of them. That coupled with some really wacky officiating just makes you wonder some times, you know?

your work is very good and i will be interested to read the rest of your coverage. Just try not to get all excited about a series you darn well know was closer than you would have liked.
