MIssouri's Big Dance Chances: Tigers Like Their Sweet 16 Odds
March 19, 2009
I was born in Missouri. I grew up a diehard loyal Cardinals fan. Missouri Tigers fan. Football was all about St. Louis Cardinals. Then it was all about hating them. I watched Dan Marino VS Dan Fouts (Kellen Winslow from the Tigers) and have been a Miami Dolphins fan ever since. I joined the service (USMC) out of high school and 4 years later I ended up in So Cal. The Lakers made me follow the NBA, but Kobe's antics have made me a part time fan for now. My roots will always make me watch Stock Car Racing. My love for the outdoors makes me watch golf. My competitive nature make me watch sports.
Hi Chad, how's it going?
Check out my take on the Memphis/Derrick Rose SAT scandal:

Hi Chad, how's it going, my man?
I published an article that I would really love to get more reads for. I think the message in it is inspirational, one that I think everyone can relate to:

If you get a moment, stop by and take a look. Thanks in advance.
Chad-
Thanks for the comment on my story about the Cards! I'll be there this whole homestand (8 games total) so look forward to seeing a lot of my stuff on here!
Ben
The Cards won out in that one, in my opinion. Pete had a spectacular 1989 season, leading the league with 42 doubles, and clocking 17 HR with 117 RBI. He then started the slow decline that was to be expected given his age, with 13 HR and 80 RBI in his last season as a full time player in 1990 (age 34). He had a good year as a part-timer in 1991 and retired after '92.
Tudor really didn't give the Dodgers much. Ironically, he went BACK to St. Louis in 1990 and had a fantastic year (12-4, 2.40 ERA in 146.1 innings) before ultimately succumbing to the torn elbow that he sustained, again ironically, in the 1988 postseason with the Dodgers.
You make an excellent point! What say we plan on doing C v C at the All-Star break? Gives us plenty of time to analyze what our respective teams are capable of.
I STILL can't get over the idea that I will be writing for the Dodgers though I am only 5 hours from St. Lou, and you will be writing about the Cards even though you live in Cali! lol
Sports fans are a crazy lot!

Hi Chad, how are you, my man?
I'm back "home", college basketball, and Memphis of course! Just a brief pice re-capping some remarkable successes on the recruiting trail, given the circumstances, that is:

Hi Chad! How are you tonight?
As promised, episode two in the resurrection of the Jimmy Connors-John McEnroe feud has been published! It is on Karthika M’s profile:

So take a look and let us know what you think about the titanic first set!
Glad you enjoyed the article!
MAN, have you got a tough job! Best wishes on your fire fighting efforts.
And I just caught wind of Manny's drug suspension. From what I have gathered thus far, it is not 'roids. But it is devastating to the Dodgers, all the same.
