About

I am an avid fan of MMA with a background in martial arts. Pretty sure I made my B/R profile when there were only 2 other girls here in the MMA section. One old lady who hated me and one young girl who was cool because she boxed.

Eh, those martial arts training days were a long while ago. I have since moved on to a thing they call crossfit but reeeally suck at it. I will never love any sport more than I love MMA. It was awesome from the first moment I watched it as a kid, and it's still awesome today. Actually, as I type this now, I want to go back and train again, but better. Did I mention stand up paddle boarding is becoming my 2nd favorite?

Also, I'm known to be EMBARRASSINGLY late replying to comments on this site.... so please email me at ingrid AT sweatprints DOT com if you like. Thanks!!

Short List

  • Favorite Athletes

Eder Sanchez. Fedor Emelianenko. Vitor Belfort. Randy Couture. Andrei Arlovski back when. Even further back, Royce Gracie and Ken Shamrock.

  • All-Time Sports Moment

When Hendo K-O'd Bisping and gave him that "extra punch" to quote, 'shut him up.' Lmao!

  • Most Memorable Game Attended

UFC 65... back in 2006...Hughes vs GSP...When I was sitting at the ARCO Arena in Sacramento, great seats, no-- EXCELLENT seats!!! Excellent company, and the entire stadium of fans was chanting "USA! USA! USA!" totally unaware that GSP was about to change the world of MMA. The crowd didn't accept "foreigners" at the time. Anyone who wasn't American was automatically the "loser" or whatever. Oh, I should mention, I hated Hughes, so I chanted "GSP! GSP! GSP!" Well... long story short, GSP wins by knockout, a beautiful swift kick to Matt's head! And immediately, the excitement of it makes everyone jump to their feet and suddenly, THE WHOLE FREAKIN ARENA was chanting "GSP!! GSP!!! GSP!!!!!!" What a moment.

  • Most Unbreakable Sports Record

Fedor Emelianenko's winning streak, all done the natural way. No roids. All strategy.
