I actually agree with that. Although, back then though films were slow and acting was the front and center. Nowadays, people are lower on attention spans. Action is what makes films anymore.

No doubt it was not the greatest performance. I would say it was one of the greatest. You cannot claim anyone's performance in-acting nowadays to be the greatest when Jack Nicholson, Robert De Niro, and Marlon Brando where tearing up screens.

I forgot about Chinatown. It was a fantastic movie. It reminds me of LA Noire the game. I believe LA Noire took pages out of early movies like Chinatown, and LA Confidential.

Heath Ledger's Joker was far superior. Jake Nicholson did a decent job for that time period. Heath Ledger's Joker was one of the greatest on-screen performances I have ever seen. I mean he even changed his walk, voice, and even did a habit of licking his lips.
